How will I know that YOU will make it to my birth?
Birth can be unpredictable, but it is my top priority to be available to you when you go into labor. I go on-call for 4 weeks around your due date and know that I can be called to a birth at any moment during that time. I take on a limited number of clients a month and in the event of an emergency, a back-up doula is notified and present.
Will my insurance cover doula services?
Usually, no. Most insurances do not cover doula services. Some may reimburse you for 'out of network' services and some doulas participate in the NJ Medicaid programs. Labor to Love, LLC does not participate with these programs, but if finances are a concern, accommodations may be available.
Should i still take a childbirth education class, even if i have hired a doula?
